You know, it was only a matter of time until someone decided to take an in-depth look into the locales we all must visit when enjoying our favorite place on Earth. We gobble-up the latest, most breaking news re: WDW new rides, attraction revamps and closures, even restaurant menu changes. Why not also gobble (ewwww! poor choice of words -- ed) up the latest on WDW restrooms?!! Well, that's just what we aim to do here on the blog, and we so appreciate your visit to our site! Thank you!
Speaking of WDW Loos, have we got a good one for you this week. Back to Magic Kingdom we go, dipping our toes into New Fantasyland for a trip to a surprisingly spacious restroom. This week, we head to the Pinocchio Village Haus Loo!
Located just East of the Pinocchio Village Haus quick service restaurant, the loo's entrance is marked by an archway. It's fairly inconspicuous, blending into the restaurant's architecture, making this location an easy loo to miss. Once up close, however, the words "Rest Rooms" assist the weary park-goer in locating their relief repository. Beyond, the men's and women's loos (prince and princesses, respectively) beckon to those with burgeoning bladders.
Given the gender of this reviewer, we opt oft for the "Prince" loo. The theming here, as is the case with much of New Fantasyland, is simply top-notch. Look at the amber-glassed lantern , the ovoid window ensconced in a relief frame! Bravo to the Dept. of Loo Imagineering for really making an effort to immerse this loo's theme into that of the Italian restaurant next door. Exceptional!
Here's an up-close look at the men's room sign: nothing to write home about, but not without embellishment, either.
Enough lolly-gagging about this loo's exterior. Let's move inside. Walking beneath the entry's arch, we must take a quick jog to the right, then another jog to the left before entering the restroom proper. This loo doesn't have an exterior door, hence the necessity of an a 90 degree angled entry to respect user privacy. Here's a view of the entrance from inside the loo, itself:
Once inside, one can't help but admire the space in here. There's 6 sinks (enough for real boys and marionettes alike)! The walls are tiled with off-white and cream squares, with a decorative cream-colored accent trim running along the superior portion throughout.
Marbled brown squares mark the floor which leads the visitor deeper into this loo towards the toilet stalls. A total of 4 stalls (one ADA compliant) are situated here. Fathers, rejoice! Here is a place of solace to do your business and check Facebook at the same time!
Looking back toward the loo's entrance, we see what is, in this blog's most humble opinion, the restroom's most striking feature: the golden window! This half-circle of stained yellow glass squares catches even the most inattentive eye. Moreover, the light it generates is one of warmth, easily off-setting the otherwise sterile glow from the overhead fluorescent bulbs. Below, we can see the window catching the morning sun's brilliant light, bathing the entire front of this loo in an inviting gold.
Here's a closer view of the window. We just love this little feature. It makes this otherwise fairly nondescript (albeit clean) loo into something much more special.
Lastly, as we leave the restroom, bladders now empty, we see Disney has afforded us the opportunity to make a phone call, withdraw funds from our bank and also defibrillate someone -- all at one convenient location! Nice work! Notice how even these modern accoutrements are embellished with the adjacent restaurant's theme!

Great loo, befitting Geppetto, Pinocchio and Jiminy! This place is surprisingly deep, making it large enough to accommodate even the likes of Monstro! While the Loo is fairly non-descript inside, the addition of that cool, half-circle window and excellent theming outside make this a must-do for those needing to answer Nature's call.
